Re(De)Constructing Nostalgia: Exploring Sentiments in a Post-Apocalyptic Robotic Realm
Arizona, 2075. In the wake of humanity's extinction, a group of robots finds solace in the quiet solitude of a desert diner. Amidst the barren landscape, they navigate their new reality, seeking meaning and companionship in a world devoid of their creators.
Re(De)Construction Nostalgia is an exploration of a lost future. Early science fiction titles evoked a hope and anticipation for technology and robots with artificial intelligence for a future that never arrived. It became a lost future. This game world is a personal interpretation of this lost future: a fusion between the past and the present. These themes have been transposed into a post-apocalyptic setting in order to spark nostalgia.
